Dechoes

Tomorrow is a monumental day. Although this is not on my list, the anticipation of treasure hunting and deal getting is almost too much to bear. I will be heading to Dechoes Resale on Colonial Ave. to partake in their $15 bag sale. Yes, I said it--$15 for everything you can cram in a provided bag. Not a bad deal considering the last time I participated in a bag sale for Dechoes, I walked out with well over $300 in merchandise for only $30.00

If you have never been to Dechoes before, it is a vintage shop filled with clothing, shoes, housewares and a lot of edge. Mostly high-end with some rare gems stashed in the racks, you are sure to find numerous pieces to add to your current collections. The prices are well within any budget, even in a recession. The atmosphere of the is similar to hanging in your besties' closet, picking out something to wear on Saturday night with a stream of alternative music piped in. The associates interact as if they are your bestie. No snobbishness. No attitude. No BS. Everyone there is having a good time, including the shoppers.

Dechoes hosts numerous events during the month. One of the best is the Wine Not Wednesday event that pairs good food with good drink and good sales. They also have an amazing customer appreciation program that allows discounts after you have purchased a certain amount. Not many stores employ a loyalty program that adds up so quickly.

If you are in the Orlando area, you can visit two locations--2525 E. Colonial Dr and 2110 Edgewater Dr. See you at 11:00 am.
